Want to Live the
Our culture’s understanding of The Good Life usually involves upward mobility and the American Dream: financial freedom, material abundance, and successful social status. If only we could get that better paycheck, that better house, that better car, that better retirement, that better social circle, then we could finally be happy. In this four-week series we will be examining Jesus’s teaching in the Sermon on the Mount to see how He turns this definition of The Good Life upside down when seen through the eyes of faith. Together, we will unmask our culture’s superficial ideas of a what makes one successful in life, and contrast them with the truths found in God’s Word.
