BECOMING AN EDEN KIDS & YOUTH VOLUNTEER 

Thank you for your interest becoming involved with youth ministry. At Eden Church we strive to provide a safe environment for our youth and our volunteers. To that end Eden Church has adopted a Child Protection Plan as part of our Safe Church Policy covering sexual misconduct. Every youth volunteer is required to be familiar with this policy. As part of the safe church policy of Eden Church every volunteer in youth ministry and every staff person, whether full or part-time, must fill out an application form, provide references undergo a background check, and successfully complete the children's ministries assessment. The application form and background check is processed online on a secure and confidential website. The results of the background check are viewed only by the Pastor. If any information is uncovered that may impact an applicant's suitability for youth ministry, the applicant will be contacted and the information discussed with him/her. 
 

Please be aware that the application form is rather extensive. Among other information, you will be asked to provide:

• Driver's license number;

• Social Security Number
