Matt has been involved in worship since childhood when he sang in the children's choir at Eden Church. With these deep roots in church music, he became the worship leader at Farmland Friends Church during his time as a student at Monroe Central Jr.-Sr. High School, where he was also a founding student member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Matt attended Taylor University and received his undergraduate degree in environmental science. You may see him out on the Cardinal Greenway as he is also Maintenance Staff for Cardinal Greenways, Inc. When he isn't maintaining the trail, he coordinates volunteer groups and student activities on the trail. Matt enjoys songwriting, road cycling, running, walking his dog Milo, and gardening, but most of all, he enjoys spending time with his wife and friends around a cozy campfire.
Pastor Tammy Hallam
Kathy has been working at Eden Church in the Music Department
for many years. She currently directs the Sanctuary Choir and the Jesus
Singers (Childrens Choir). She teaches piano lessons in her studio in Royerton and also at Taylor University. Kathy loves spending time with family, reading, traveling and being around animals. It is her heart's desire to spread God's word through music wherever possible.
Diane began playing for worship services at the age of 15 and since that time has enjoyed feeling close to God through time at the piano, organ
or keyboard. A graduate of Ball State University, with degrees in education
and music, her energies have been spent as an active farm wife. She and husband Paul have raised three children and enjoy 5 grandchildren. Diane
has been a member of Eden Church since 1976. She enjoys sewing, raising Suffolk sheep, and teaching the Friends in Faith adult Sunday School Class.
Pastor Tammy is an ordained pastor with the Evangelical Covenant Church. She received her Master of Divinity through Phoenix Seminary and training in Spiritual Direction from North Park Seminary in Chicago. She has served for more than 15 years as a pastor in local churches in Arizona and now in Indiana with a focus on spiritual formation, leadership development and community transformation. Her passion is to walk alongside others in their journey towards understanding God’s desire to know and love them and how they can respond to that love and live a God-inspired life. Tammy grew up in Muncie, working at their family-owned hardware store, Hi-Way 3 Hardware and has recently moved back to her hometown with her husband, Jack.They have 4 daughters and 7 grandchildren and love to travel and enjoy time with family and friends. Some of Tammy’s hobbies include curling up with a good book, hiking and teaching Holy Yoga classes.
